Despite a relatively wide fairway, this toughest hole on the back nine looks intimidating off the tee. Oil palm trees, deep bunkers and out of bounds guard the right side of the fairway while pot bunkers and a water hazard wait patiently on the left. The fairway moves to an upper tier from 50 metres onwards signalled by a lone bunker in the centre. The green slopes severely from back to front and from right to left. A hint to the first-timer: Never attack the pin … always land the ball on the right.
